The Big C September 9, 2011

I just finished watching a fairly new show called The Big C. I loved it! it revolves around a suburban mom, Cathy (Laura Linney) who gets diagnosed with cancer and tries to live her life as normally as possible and goes as far as not telling her own husband and son.
It took me a while to watch the first episode, I just watch the first 10 minutes and quickly become uninterested or distracted, I then watch it all over again and I repeated this process like 5 times. However, as soon as I got to watch the entire first episode I got hooked! The show is interesting and comedic and Laura Linney is funny and so pretty. They also have interesting guest stars such as Liam Neeson, Idris Elba (Smokin hot) and Cynthia Nixon (from Sex and The City), although I think Cynthia is stickin around for a while;)
Its a really sweet show, its not depressing like some may think because it doesn’t revolve around the issue of cancer too much, and its nice to watch a show that doesnt have to do with drop dead gorgeous teenagers with superficial issues.
The Butter: I highly recommend this show. I think its great and the ending was lovely. Can’t wait for season 2 :)

My awesome friend got me this awesome camera!
She has the same one and I fell in love with it when I used it. It’s a digital although it looks like a pro camera. And just because I mentioned once that I wanna get the same one, she went and got me one herself on her trip back from Beirut! Isn’t she the sweetest?
Love u bedouin belle ! Mwah!
Here’s a few details of the camera:
Six in-camera art filters–Pop Art, Soft Focus, Grainy Film, Pin Hole, Diorama and Dramatic Tone–help bring out your artistic side in stills and video. A panorama mode allows you to produce amazing ultra wide-angle panoramas by just shooting three pictures while you slowly sweep the camera across the scene–no tripod required. An accessory port allows the use of the SEMA-1 microphone adapter set and the VF-2 electronic viewfinder (both available separately), while advanced Face Detection improves on every portrait and AF tracking helps you keep moving subjects always sharp and in-focus.
All of this photographic goodness comes in a compact body that’s less than 4.5″ wide and less than 2″ thick, and weighs less than 10 oz.
A Fan of Documentaries? September 2, 2011

Then check out this site: http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/
It’s really good its gots tons and tons of documentaries under many categories such as pyschology, science, religion, sports, conspiracy theories. To make choosing a documentary easier there is a “Recommended Documentaries” section on the right hand column along with “Recently Added” and “Featured Documentaries”, the current featured documetnary is: Through the Wormhole, narrated by Morgan Freeman.
I went straight to the psychology category because it looked the most interesting. I am currently watching: Stephen Fry: The Secret Life of the Manic Depressive and next on my list is: Kim Peek: The Real Rain Man u know the one that was played by Dustin Hoffman?
I do plan on watching as many documentaries as I can and hitting all the categories, they are just so interesting! Hope you like them as much as I do !
The Art of Doing Nothing August 26, 2011

Ever since I got into university, I appreciated every minute of my free time. And so few a times they were.
The other day my cousin and I were talking and he was complaining that he had nothing to do. I had just finished my long and tedious summer course, so I was telling him how happy I was that I had nothing to do. This has been a very long summer. With fasting and the heat and running around, I had to get many papers done, I had to get tutored for a couple of hard classes, I had to drive everyday to university and back to my cousin’s place (it was a long long drive), I sometimes had to make a stop at my own place to get a few things done, I had to pay bills all over the place (internet, phone, apartment etc). I then came home to my cousin’s kids who were bouncing off the walls and seldom let a person rest. Again, it was a long summer..
So right now I’m more than happy just sitting on the couch, laptop on my lap, TV infront of me, table full of desserts post futoor. Go to my aunt’s house and do the exact same thing. Come home and sleep. Wake up whenever I want, and all I think about is what futoor might be. I still didn’t go out with my friends because that falls under the category of doing something :pThis is the life. Doing nothings ROCKS! Garfield knows how it is..:p
What do you do when you do nothing exactly?:P
